Beginning August 1 and continuing for most Sundays in August, we shall have an Adult Dialogue at 11 examining the witness of Dietrich Bonhoeffer...Beginning August 1 and continuing for most Sundays in August, we shall have an Adult Dialogue at 11 examining the witness of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, utilizing a packet of materials that will be made available for anyone interested in more access to his witness. These materials provide a good entry point into what Bonhoeffer’s life and witness addressed, giving both biographical overview, the reflections of some others on Bonhoeffer, and direct quotes from him. His critical work during the Nazi era in Germany has great relevance for the challenges of our day and the always critical task of answering responsibly the question, “Who is Jesus Christ for us today.”
