Reformation Sunday

Worship Service at 9:30 a.m.  Today we will observe the Witness of the Reformation in the Present as we consider the challenges of the world for a reforming church, especially in the United States where the presence of the Christian movement is quite ambiguous in its impacts, often unfortunately being a pillar to some of the most harmful aspects of our culture.   Also, a church like ours must face the decline of Christian practice in churches like ours throughout our culture, so what is needful reform wise to enable renewed and positive Christian practice in our time and place?  We will ponder such questions in our time together on these Sundays of the 22th and 29th.  This is timely in that October 29 is Reformation Sunday and our Presbyterian Church calls our practice ‘Reformed and Reforming.’  Please join us in exploring our place in our culture and the place of Christian devotion in our lives.
